Department of Justice Selects Edwards Industries for Multiple-Year Project Management Support Task Order
COLUMBIA, MD, February 28, 2005 - Edwards Industries, a premier provider of project management support, training and enterprise engineering solutions, announced the award of a multiple-year project management support task order for the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The five (5) year order, consisting of one base year with four option years, provides program management expertise, earned value management consultation and other support services on a variety of IT based programs and projects for several DOJ components. Edwards Industries will provide skilled Program Management and Project Controller resources to support the DOJ OCIO Enterprise Solutions Staff, all of whom have extensive training in the Edwards Industries project management methodologies and are well versed in using Microsoft® Project as a scheduling tool. All the efforts performed at DOJ will be based on the DOJ SDLC guidance document, along with ANSI/EIA standards for earned value, the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK), and DoD/Industry best practices. These guidelines form the cornerstones of the Edwards Industries project management methodology.
